Abstract

According to the chapter 7 of National Education Act, 1999, Thailand have to promote development of a system for teachers and educational personnel to become a highly respected profession. In 2003, the Teachers and Educational Personnel Council Act was promulgated. After the promulgation of the act, teachers, administrators of educational institutions, educational administrators and other educational personnel shall have professional licenses as provided by the law. The professional stands and ethics will be developed by the Professional Commission.
