ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อ ศึกษาผลของคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 ของนิสิต เปรียบเทียบและหาความสัมพันธ์ของคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย คะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 ของนิสิภาคปกติ ที่เข้าศึกษาปีการศึกษา 2549 ที่ผ่านการตัดเลือกโดยวิธีการรับตรง และ Admissions ประชากร คือ นิสิตระดับปริญญาตรี ภาคปกติที่เข้าศึกษา ในปีการศึกษา 2549 จำนวน 3,032 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ แฟ้มข้อมูลที่จัดเก็บอยู่ในระบบฐานข้อมูลที่เข้าถึงคอมพิวเตอร์ที่มีการติดตั้งระบบเครือข่าย ที่งานทะเบียนและสถิตินิสิต สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าร้อยละ การทดสอบ ค่าที และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า
1. ผลการศึกษาคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงชั้นที่ 1 ของนิสิตปีการศึกษา 2549
ในภาพรวมค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 เท่ากับ 2.69 โดยคณะที่มีค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 มากที่สุด ได้แก่ วิทยาลัยการขนส่งและโลจิสติกส์ (X = 3.01) และคณะที่มีค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด ได้แก่ คณะเทคโนโลยีทางทะเล (X = 2.15)
ประเภทการรับตรง พบว่า ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 เท่ากับ 2.68 โดยคณะที่มีค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 มากที่สุด ได้แก่ วิทยาลัยการขนส่งและโลจิสติกส์ (X = 3.06) และคณะที่มีค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด ได้แก่ คณะเทคโนโลยีทางทะเล (X = 2.15)
ประเภทการ Admissions พบว่า ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 เท่ากับ 2.71 โดยคณะที่มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะมสมช่วงปีที่ 1 มากที่สุด ได้แก่ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ (X = 3.05) และคณะที่มีค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด ได้แก่ คณะเทคโนโลยีทางทะเล (X = 2.16)
2. คะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายของนิสิต ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกโดยวิธรับตรง และ Admissions แตกต่างกันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ
3. คะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วงปีที่ 1 ของนิสิตที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกโดยวิธีรับตรง และ Admissions แตกต่างกันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ
4. ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับคะแนนเฉลี่ยสะสมช่วนชั้นปีที่ 1 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.5 |

The purposes of this study are to examine iearning achievement of the first year student at Burapha University in the 2006 academic year who admitted by Quota and Admissions, and to study the relationship learning achievement between their senior high school achievement and their first year achievement. This study based on 3,032 first year student admitted in that academic year. Data used in this research are collected from files stored in database of office of registrar. Fata analysis used in this research are mean (X),Standard Deviation (S.D>), percentage, t-test and Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient. Results from the study are
1. The learning achievement of first year student in the 2006 academic year is 2.69. Students of College of Transport and Logistics have the highest GPAX of X= 3.01 and students of Faculty of Marine Technology have the highest GPAX of X =2.15.
The first year student admitted by Quota has GPAX of X= 2.68 with the highest GPAX of X = 2.15 found in Faculty of Marine Technology.
The first year student admitted by Admissions ha GPAX of X = 2.71 withe the highest GPAX of X = 3.05 found in Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the lowest GPAX of X = 2.16 found in Faculty of Marine Technology.
2. The learning achievements during senior high school of first year student and admitted by different metods show no statistically difference at .05 significant level.
3. The learning achievements during the first year student year of first year student admitted by different methods show no statistically difference at .05 singificant level.
4. The learning achievements during senior high school are positively related to their achievements at the university at the .05 significant level |
