| dc.description.abstract | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษและปัญหาการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 2 มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาที่เรียนในรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ (English for Humanities and Social Sciences) ปีการศึกษา 1/2553 โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 534 คน ได้ทำการทดสอบความสามารถในการอ่านด้วยแบบทดสอบการอ่านมาตรฐานของ Nelson Denny Reading Test, Form H และแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับปัญหาการอ่าน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ร้อยละ 94.57 ของนิสิตกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความสามารถในการอ่านอยู่ในเกณฑ์ต่ำ (poor readers) ในขณะที่นิสิตที่มความสามารถในการอ่านอยู่ในเกณฑ์ปานกลาง (fair readers) มีร้อยละ 5.43 ในด้านปัญหาการอ่าน พบว่า นิสิตมีความคิดเห็นว่าปัญหาด้านคำศัพท์เป็นอุปสรรคสำคัญของการอ่าน โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเป็น 3.82 | th_TH |
